A promising initiative

Looking for something new?
We have a crush on this Parisian project: a market which connects several brands working in the same direction. It’s all about preserving and respecting our planet. Nice, isn’t it?

Fair Trade spices from Madagascar, trendy organic cotton clothing, objects made from recycled material—you’ll find products coming from everywhere.
Laëtitia, founder and CEO of Lamazuna, a French brand of green cosmetics, has always been interested in sustainable development. After launching her own brand, she wanted to get similar brands, that complement one another’s goals and values, together in one place. According to her, the young and talented entrepreneurs she chose all deserved to get known.
That’s why six years ago, in 2011, the first Marché des cadeaux Bio et Ecolo, welcomed by Le Comptoir Général, was created. It had an immediate and huge success ; the next spring, a second edition was organized at La Cartonnerie.
Today, each edition of Marché Bio et Ecolo is organized at the Mutinerie Coworking, in the 19th district of Paris. And each year, new exhibitors are invited and unique activities are organized. The renewal is continuous!

When you go there, you’ll find modern and convenient products. Moreover, each displayed brand implements a biological, ecological or ethical project. And this year, especially for the 13th edition, the Mutinerie basement will turn into a worn-clothing hosting exchange to swap gently used items and give them new life rather than landing them in the trash!

The program is under elaboration and will be announced at a later date. All we know at the moment is that you’ll find bio-exponents, creative workshops, item swaps, and a vegan food stand!

An encouraging collection that we hope will last for many more years to come — we’ll certainly visit it this year !
